Job Description
<Job Responsibilities > - Conduct quality checks on incoming products and in-store items, including visual inspections, temperature control, and contamination monitoring. - Ensure food labels comply with local regulations, covering ingredients, allergens, additives, nutritional facts, expiration dates, and storage instructions. - Provide hygiene and food safety training to store staff; conduct regular hygiene audits to ensure proper sanitation practices. - Manage and respond to customer complaints related to product quality, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. - Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to manage and update product specifications. - Prepare and maintain documentation required for internal and external audits, including government inspections; implement improvements based on findings. - Review and approve packaging and product information for new items to ensure compliance before market launch. Perform other related tasks as assigned. - Other assigned by Japanese QAQC manager
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > ・Bachelors degree at any field ・Conversational mid-high level of English ・At least 3years of working experience in quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) at a food manufacturer <Preferable Skill / Experience> ・Experience in food import at a trading company (including handling of import labeling) ・Experience in the merchandising or purchasing department of a supermarket ・Nutritionist or registered dietitian license who are knowledgeable in food labeling regulations
