Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> ●Export and Purchasing Support for Japan - Handle export work for Thai food products such as ginger and pickled ginger to Japan. - Contact and coordinate with offices in Japan. - Support staff who visit Thailand from Japan or overseas offices for purchasing trips. - Help them choose and buy products. - Arrange purchasing schedules and places to visit. - Share information about changes in product prices and explain the reasons for the changes. - Build good relationships with customers through business dinners and other activities. - Sometimes, business dinners may include alcohol. * About 95% of visitors come from Japan. The parent company has about 1,000 employees and about 60 sales offices. Purchasing staff visit Thailand almost every week. ●Sales in Thailand - Introduce and sell products to Japanese food companies in Thailand. - Keep good relationships with current customers and increase business with them. - Customer examples include Japanese food factories such as Nichirei and Ajinomoto. - Collect information about customer needs and market trends. - Coordinate prices, delivery dates, and product conditions with customers. - Report sales activities and market information inside the company. ●Management Work - Manage a team of 2–5 members. - Set sales goals and monitor team performance. - Manage sales, profit, and business progress. - Coach and support team members. - Coordinate tasks, schedules, and related departments. - Report sales results and team activities to management. ●Domestic Business Trips Domestic business trips may be required about 3 times a month, depending on the month. Each trip may last about 1 week. Travel areas will vary, and overnight stays may be required. Handle other related tasks as assigned. ●Overseas Business Trips Business trip to Japan about once a year. Attend a South Asia regional meeting about once a year. The meeting is held at different group locations, such as Vietnam, India, Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia. ●Other Duties Handle other related tasks assigned by your supervisor. Work mainly on weekdays. You may need to work outside normal working hours depending on the business situation. Remark: No overtime pay is provided.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Having sales experience in the food industry for over 5 years - Having management experience with subordinate - Business level of Japanese (JLPT N2 or N1 level) - Conversational middle level of English (Mainly used for external email communication, with sufficient reading and writing skills) - Willingness to attend business dinners and support business visitors from Japan <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - Having experience working for a Japanese company
