Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Production Preparation & Process Design: Select the optimal production lines based on new product specifications, evaluate mold and equipment specifications, and establish production flows. - Prototype Validation: Conduct molding trials (e.g., injection molding), verify surface treatments (painting, vacuum metallization, printing), and oversee assembly processes. - Identify issues during the prototyping stage and implement countermeasures. Design and create necessary production jigs. - Quality Stabilization: Improve yield rates and establish quality standards for mass production. - Cross-departmental & External Coordination: Coordinate product specifications with sales representatives, evaluate productivity with various departments, and lead technical meetings with mold manufacturers and external suppliers. - Production Support: Provide guidance to production staff and implement process improvements.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field. - At least 3 years of direct experience in product development or manufacturing engineering for plastic products, especially high-precision or cosmetic packaging. - Conversational Middle in Japanese / JLPT N4 up (speaking, reading, writing), including email and report writing. <Details> - Knowledge of plastic injection molding, mold structure, and plastic materials - Expertise in surface finishing processes like UV Coating, Silk-screen Printing, and Hot Stamping; Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD software - Experience working within quality management systems such as ISO 9001 - Data analysis capability for production data <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - Having experience as a project lead for new product introduction (NPI). - Having the ability to create simple documents or visual materials using Adobe Illustrator.
