Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Lead and oversee the design and development of complex analog and digital electronic circuits for automotive and industrial applications. - Manage and supervise a team of engineers and technical staff, ensuring high-quality output, technical accuracy, and adherence to project timelines. - Review and approve hardware schematics, PCB layouts, and embedded system designs using tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or Mentor Graphics. - Drive hardware-software integration efforts and oversee validation and debugging activities using advanced lab instruments (e.g., oscilloscopes, logic analyzers). - Guide the team through the complete product development lifecycle—from concept and prototyping to design validation and mass production. - Ensure product compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 26262, IATF 16949, RoHS, CE, UL, EMC) and support related testing and certification processes. - Perform and support failure analysis and root cause investigations using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5-Why, and Ishikawa diagrams. - Apply best practices in signal integrity, high-speed design, thermal management, DFM, and DFT to ensure robust and scalable product designs. - Plan and delegate project tasks, monitor progress, manage risks, and coordinate with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, quality, and manufacturing departments. - Conduct technical reviews, mentor junior engineers, and provide performance feedback to foster professional growth and technical excellence within the team. - Maintain and manage accurate documentation, including BOMs, test reports, and design specifications, using PLM systems and version control tools. - Utilize simulation tools such as LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, or PSpice for design verification and performance analysis.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. - At least 7 years of experience in electronics hardware design in automotive or industrial applications. - Experience supervising or leading a team of engineers or technical staff. - Proven experience with designing and validating complex electronic systems, including PCB layout, schematics, and embedded systems. - Proficient in Altium Designer or equivalent PCB design tools (e.g., OrCAD, Mentor Graphics). - Experience in product development lifecycle, from concept through to mass production. - Familiarity with automotive standards such as ISO 26262, IATF 16949, and functional safety principles. - Knowledge of compliance requirements(EMC, RoHS, CE, UL, etc.) and testing procedures. - Conversational High level of English (written and spoken) for documentation and communication. <Details> Technical Skills: - Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design. - Proficient in microcontroller-based systems, signal processing, and power electronics. - Experience with hardware-software integration and embedded firmware basics. - Skilled in debugging and failure analysis using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab tools. - Knowledge of signal integrity, high-speed design, and thermal analysis. - Familiarity with design-for-manufacturability (DFM) and design-for-test (DFT) practices. Leadership & Project Management Skills: - Ability to lead and mentor a team of junior engineers and technicians. - Experience with project planning, task delegation, and timeline tracking. - Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams(software, mechanical, quality, manufacturing). - Experience in reviewing design documents, conducting design reviews, and approving engineering changes. - Decision-making skills under technical and time constraints. - Competence in problem-solving and root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why, Ishikawa, etc.). Tools & Documentation: - Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and engineering documentation tools. - Familiar with PLM systems, version control, and BOM management. Comfortable using simulation tools(e.g., LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice) <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Can start working immediately
