Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Manage overall cost accounting functions. - Prepare, monitor, and analyze production costs, including raw materials, direct labor, manufacturing overhead, and related cost components. - Review and analyze product costing based on BOM and production formulas. - Monitor and analyze cost variances, including material variance, labor variance, and overhead variance. - Control and review inventory, stock movement, work-in-process, finished goods, and raw material balances. - Analyze gross margin and profitability by product category and individual SKU. - Prepare monthly costing reports, inventory reports, margin analysis, and management reports. - Oversee monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely reporting. - Review accounting transactions related to production costs. - Coordinate with production, warehouse, purchasing, sales, and management teams to improve cost control and operational efficiency. - Develop and improve accounting, costing, inventory control, and internal control processes. - Lead, coach, and develop the costing team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with accounting standards. - Perform structured credit assessment for new and existing customers, including financial analysis, trade references and risk profiling. - Recommend credit limits and payment terms based on risk fundamentals and business exposure. - Monitor portfolio exposure against approved limits and escalate deviations in a timely manner. - Ensure strict adherence to credit policy, Limit of Authority (LoA), and internal controls. - Drive collection activities to achieve DSO and overdue targets. - Analyze ageing, payment patterns and overdue trends to identify early warning signals. - Engage customers professionally to resolve disputes, reconcile balances and secure payment commitments. - Escalate high-risk accounts with clear risk assessment and recovery recommendation. - Prepare structured portfolio reviews highlighting overdue trend, exposure concentration, high-risk accounts and provision recommendations. - Provide data-backed analysis to support management decision making.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance - At least 8 years of experience in cost accounting and AR/credit control with at least 3 years management. (Assistant Manager or higher) - Conversational High or Business Level in English (Writing & Verbal). use for report and meeting - Strong knowledge of standard costing, BOM, recipe costing, inventory control, and cost variance analysis. - Proficiency in accounting ERP systems such as Oracle, or related systems. - Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Table, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, formulas <Personality> - Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to present financial information clearly to management. Good leadership, ownership, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under closing deadlines.
