Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Collect and analyse data to determine the time, money, materials, and labour required for projects - Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues - Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors - Conduct special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data - Review material and labour requirements to determine whether it is more cost-effective to produce or purchase components - Cost tracking to ensure project execution is within the estimated budget - Assess cost-effectiveness of products, projects, or services - Assist compiling commercial proposal - Other duties assigned
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, Business, or related field - Around 2-5 years of experience in cost estimation or a related field - Conversational high level of English (To communicate with report line and internal) - Proficiency in cost estimation software and spreadsheet applications - Strong analytical and mathematical skills - Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Professional certification (e.g., Certified Professional Estimator, Certified Cost Professional) - Experience in the specific industry (construction, subsea engineering, etc.) - Knowledge of project management principles - Advanced degree in a relevant field - Experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools - Knowledge of Basic business legal (No expertise required) <Working Conditions> - Primarily office environment with potential site visits to project locations. - May require occasional travel to meet with clients or visit project sites. - Full-time position with standard business hours, may require additional hours to meet project deadlines
