Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating construction contracts and related legal documents - Monitoring contract compliance and ensuring all contractual obligations are met by all parties involved - Manage change orders, claims, extensions, and variations in coordination with project teams - Identifying and mitigating potential contractual risks and issues, and implementing appropriate solutions - Collaborate with legal and procurement departments to ensure contracts meet regulatory and company standards - Maintaining and updating contract documentation, including variations, claims, and change orders - Providing expert advice and guidance to project teams on contractual matters - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless contract management processes - Other assigned task by management.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor’s Degree in Law, Engineering, or a related field - At least 5 years of experience in contract management, preferably in the construction industry - Conversational high in English (Communication with the Japanese report line, Meeting with headquarters, e-mail and documents) - Strong understanding of construction contracts, including standard forms of contract and relevant laws and regulations (ex. FIDIC, AIA, AUS, JCT, etc.) <Indetaiils> - Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and analytical skills - Proficient in contract administration, risk management, and dispute resolution - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in MS Office and Contract Management Software / Tools <Preferable> - Experience in a working environment in a Japanese company
