Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Manage procurement contracts (both short-term and long-term) - Handle sourcing and purchasing of goods and services based on business requirements - Oversee import/export operations, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and maximizing benefits (e.g., BOI privileges) - Coordinate logistics and transportation to ensure cost efficiency and timely delivery - Source new products and identify new suppliers - Manage and evaluate supplier performance - Monitor market trends and conduct new sourcing activities - Prepare, control, and manage procurement and service contracts - Prepare procurement-related reports - Ensure all activities comply with company policies, including environmental, safety, and quality standards - Review purchase requisitions, request quotations, compare price & quality, and issue purchase orders - Follow up on delivery and handle claims for defective or damaged goods - Coordinate with government authorities (e.g., BOI, Customs, Department of Foreign Trade) for import/export processes - Manage customs brokers and logistics providers - Evaluate new products and suppliers before approval - Maintain and update vendor database and vendor list - Handle supplier performance evaluation and issue resolution - Build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders - Conduct market research and track pricing/technology trends - Ensure compliance with procurement procedures and relevant laws
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or related-filed - At least 1 year of work experience in procurement or supply chain management (New graduates are welcome) - Conversational High Level for communication with the report line and the supplier <Detail> - Strong negotiation and supplier management skills - Knowledge of logistics and transportation management - Understanding of environmental, safety, and quality standards in industrial procurement <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - Preferably in the chemical or automotive parts industry - Have experience in Commercial and Purchasing - Able to use Power BI, Oracle ERP
