Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Provide data-driven insights on revenue, margins, and customer performance to support commercial strategy. - Analyse sales and ordering trends to identify early indicators of risk or opportunity. - Prepare ad hoc analyses for the sales teams to support pricing decisions and profitability assessments. - Support the sales team on forecast and budget processes. - Monitor gross margin, supporting variance analysis (actual vs forecast/budget) and flagging key deviations. - Support the automation and maintenance of the global price list. - Develop automated reports, dashboards, and tools to support the commercial organisation (e.g. a pricing tool for sales managers). - Create and maintain reports to track bonus rebates and commissions by sales manager. - Support the adoption of AI-driven analytics and automation solutions. - Support the preparation of the monthly commercial deck. - Work with IT and Operations to improve data quality and dashboards across commercial Power BI reports; Identify workflow inefficiencies and implement process improvements; Develop new commercial reports to support the business. - Provide non-commercial teams (PSR, EHS, R&D) with required sales information.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or Statistics with strong academic exposure to Data Analytics, Financial Modelling, and Statistics. - Experience: At least 5 years in Commercial or Business Analyst roles, with prior experience in an international or multicultural work environment. - Language: Business level in English, both written and spoken. (communicate and collaborate with overseas managers and team members) - Hard Skills: Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Power BI, including pivot tables, formulas, DAX, Power Query, and data manipulation; Familiarity with AI-driven data analytics and agent-based solutions. <Indetail> - Soft Skills: Adaptable, technology-oriented mindset with a genuine interest in the continuous evolution of data tools, automation, and AI; Ability to collaborate effectively and influence stakeholders across multiple organizational levels, including senior management; Strong collaboration and communication skills, enabling effective working across international and cross-functional teams; Good organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines; Proactive approach to process optimisation and business performance improvement; Able to work effectively under pressure within fast-paced, international environments. <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - Additional language skills are advantageous. - Exposure to Power Automate is a plus. - Hands-on experience in Python or other programming languages is a plus.
