Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Independent analysis of potentially defective products of the company group to identify errors and causes based on a specified workflow, including the derivation of measures leading to improved future manufacturing or product quality. - Analysis: Conduct analysis of complaint components based on specified defect analysis processes for the company group products. - Containment: Demand immediate actions for error containment. - Communication: Communicate defect patterns to the relevant manufacturing plants within the company group. - Reporting: Create complete 8D reports and perform additional analyses as required, such as Pareto, Ishikawa, 5-Why, and FMEA. - Action Planning: Develop action plans for error prevention and detection in collaboration with the manufacturing plant, including tracking the implementation of these measures. - Validation: Review implemented measures for plausibility and effectiveness. - Knowledge Management: Derive "Lessons Learned" and integrate this knowledge into the company group knowledge database. - Training: Provide training to employees regarding identified defect patterns when necessary. - Reporting & Analytics: Generate key performance indicators (KPIs). - Representation: Organize and conduct internal and external conference calls to present partial results and, if necessary, visit customers in person to present the final 8D report.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Quality Management, or related technical field - At least 3 years of experience in Claim Management, Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Customer Complaint Handling, or Failure Analysis in manufacturing industry (from automotive, electronics, precision parts, machinery, or industrial manufacturing) - Conversational high in English communication skills (speaking, writing, and presentation) <Details> - Strong knowledge of Quality Management systems and QC tools - Hands-on experience in 8D, FMEA, 5-Why, Ishikawa, Pareto, SPC, Six Sigma, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) - Experience in defect/complaint analysis and identifying root causes - Ability to implement and monitor corrective & preventive actions (CAPA) - Good understanding of manufacturing processes and product quality standards - Ability to validate effectiveness of corrective and preventive measures <Preferable Skill / Experience> - TOEIC score 600 is an advantage - Japanese communication is an advantage
