Job Description
<Job Responsibilities>
- To conduct regular market research to identify trends and opportunities
- To monitor competitors' movement in markets and conduct product benchmarking
- To analyze product requirements obtained from customers through the sales team
- To collect all necessary information to create a comprehensive product proposal
- To discuss with the development team to develop the products that meet requirements
- To coordinate with related departments to develop and launch products for each market
- To update important information such as market situation and competitors' movement
- To report to the project committee for future product development.
- To prepare and issue product-related documents at the appropriate stages of each project
- To ensure smooth progress and timely delivery to the customers
- To answer technical product questions posed by customers
- To support their sales activities and enhance their product knowledge
- To have a clear understanding of the entire product development process
- To lead and manage the product planning team, collaborate, and ensure high performance
- To provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members
- Other tasks as assigned by the Manager
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
- Bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related Engineering
- At least 8 years of experience in Product Planning, Management, or R&D from the Automotive Industry
- At least 2 years of experience as a Supervisor, Leader, or Chief with Subordinates
- Experience in the Technical aspects of Vehicle and Product Development Lifecycle
- Experience in Market Analysis and Benchmarking, and Cross-functional Team Coordination
- Conversational High Level in English
(Communicate with Japanese Management, overseas customers, emails, documents, and reports)
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or any Market Research Tools
- Able to visit customers abroad

- Experience in a Japanese Company
- Experience in Automotive Regulations and Compliance

- Able to use CATIA
