Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - To monitor and execute daily/weekly tracking of global and regional market intelligence across assigned product chains. - To compile, download, and verify raw market data and pricing indices from external third-party sources. - To prepare and deliver standard periodic deliverables, including industrial news summaries and routine business reports, ensuring zero data gaps. - To develop business intelligence insights to identify risks, challenges, and growth opportunities. - To maintain up-to-date market content, reports, and visualizations on the team's centralized collaboration portal. - To support informed decision-making and sales growth. - To extract, analyse, and customize ad-hoc data packages and charts to support frontline sales negotiation teams. - To identify external data entry discrepancies and perform manual data validation to ensure core report accuracy. - To act as the primary operational point of contact for cross-functional data inquiries and standard information requests. - To perform other ad-hoc tasks and special assignments as designated by the superior or management. - Other tasks as assigned by the Manager.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - At least 5 years of experience in Data Analysis, Reporting, Sales Operations, or Business and Market Research from Manufacturing - Conversational High Level in English (Communicate with the global team, read, analyze, and summarize global market publications) - Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) and corporate collaboration platforms (SharePoint/Teams) <In Detail> - Core experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics within the Chemical or Petrochemical Industry - Proven strong logical background, strategic thinking, and solid business acumen - Good understanding of corporate business data processing, analytical tracking, and market report curation - Excellent report writing, communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills; ability to work effectively within a small team - High level of attention to detail, strong time management, and structured planning capabilities <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Engineering (any discipline), Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field - Experience in a Japanese Company - Experience in the Chemical industry - Have a TOEIC score of 650 up
