Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Act as an interpreter (Thai ⇄ English ⇄ Japanese) in meetings and client visits, including simultaneous interpretation when required. - Attend both internal and external meetings, prepare and summarize meeting minutes, and provide accurate translations of agreements, contracts, and related company documents. - Manage and check related documents such as agreements, payment reports, and ensure proper filing and control in the company system. - Support Japanese expatriates and management team in business development for the energy and environment industry. - Be flexible to attend after-hours client entertainment or dinners when required. - Support business development activities by making appointments and visiting clients (approx. 3–4 days/week), mainly top management in energy-related industries, to explore opportunities such as solar energy projects. <Future Plan> - Build and maintain good relationships with new and existing clients, demonstrating strong business manner and professional communication. - Conduct market research, analyze investment opportunities, and provide reports and insights to supervisors.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - At least 3 years’ experience in Interpreter, Japanese Coordinator, Secretary, Personal Assistant - Business-level proficiency in English and Japanese (JLPT N3 or above, N2/N1 preferred). - Strong translation, interpretation, meeting minutes skills (Thai–English–Japanese), including simultaneous or consecutive interpretation. - Ability to work proactively, approach new clients, and communicate with top management with appropriate business manner. - Capable of document checking and management (e.g., agreements, contracts). - Flexible to travel for client visits (e.g., Chonburi, Rayong, Ayutthaya) and occasionally work late for client entertainment. <Preferable Skill / Experience > - Experience in the energy or environment industry (especially solar energy) is a strong advantage. - Experience working in Japanese companies or with Japanese expatriates. - Understanding of organization structure, feasibility studies, due diligence, or financial statements is an advantage.
