Job Description


<Job Responsibilities>
- Support the execution of procurement strategies to achieve cost savings and ensure supply reliability.
- Prepare procurement plans aligned with monthly production forecasts and finalize purchasing upon approval.
- Monitor delivery schedules for sales-order materials, new product production capacity, and shipment timelines.
- Develop and implement procurement policies, including supplier selection criteria, evaluation and assessment processes, maintaining a qualified supplier list, and conducting supplier audits.
- Source alternative suppliers for existing products, obtain samples, and coordinate sample approval with the design team.
- Coordinate with Product Engineering to obtain quotations, specifications, MOQ, lead time, and samples from multiple suppliers for comparison.
- Generate and analyze reports (PO, stock, import plans) and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely order fulfillment and shipment readiness.
- Liaise with freight forwarders on shipping schedules, quotations, and price negotiations.
- Support cost analysis, price negotiations, and preparation of annual purchase agreements.
- Oversee handling of non-conforming materials, returns, and replacements, including preventive measures.
- Conduct regular statistical analysis on supplier performance, delivery accuracy, and packaging standards.
- Prepare forecasts and provide regular updates to management.
- Review contracts to ensure alignment with internal stakeholders before final discussion with suppliers and legal.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

<Necessary Skill / Experience >
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering/ Electrical/Mechanical, or related field.
- At least 10 years of procurement experience in the packaging or raw material industry.
- At least 3 years in a procurement management role.
- Conversation middle level of English [To use with email and documents internal]
- Proficient in MS Office.

<Preferable Skill / Experience>
- Experience in a Japanese company
