<Position Objective/Expectation >
- The Border Management Manager, GCTC – APAC shall be responsible for: This position will be part of the Global Customs & Trade Compliance organization (GCTC) that is responsible for the company’s customs and trade compliance activities throughout the world. The team focuses on ensuring that the company’s imports and exports are handled in an efficient and legally compliant manner. The overall purpose of this position is to play a crucial role in establishing and leading centrally led organization that maintains uniform and consistent processes to ensure that all goods moves cross border in APAC are moved in a manner that is a consistent with all applicable domestic and international law (e.g. laws relating to importing/exporting, international sanctions, and anticorruption), and b) efficient and in accordance with controls set forth by the GCTC.

<Job Responsibilities>
・Maintain management and control over APAC to ensure that border operations is performed in a compliant manner. That activity includes;
・Ensure management and control over the border operations and customs brokerages activities performed on behalf of company in APAC. Such management and control shall include but not be limited to the following actions;
・Maintaining an optimally small number of customs brokers in the region, and
・Establish standard contracts that are managed through key performance indicators.
・Maintaining Broker Handling such as Preselection, DDQ, Contracts, SLA/SOW, and Oversight.
・Maintaining Service Provider monthly tactical reviews
・Establishing Cross-Broder Projects included Communication, Rollouts, and Control.
・Maintaining an authorizations POA, Import License (Request, Updates and Oversight.
・Main contact for Customs Authorities Included process owner customs and internal audits.

Job Requirement

<Necessary Skill / Experience >
・Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Transport and Distribution or Logistics related field.
・Have working and management experience at least 5 years in international trade compliance from any manufacturing industry.
・Current customs brokerage license or license to practice law.
・Experience with Border management and Customs brokerage management
・Experiences with QAD, MFGPro, SAP, SharePoint, and Database applications
・Demonstrated knowledge of international import and export laws, regulations and Compliance requirements, as well as the governmental agencies that impact or are Involved with international trade within APAC.
・Ability to identify objectives and incorporate diverse information in making decisions.
・Ability to develop and effectively communicate sound advice and/or analysis, including the suggestion of alternative business solutions and best practices while taking into account objectives and risk tolerance.
・Ability to integrate effective border operations requirements with current business processes so not to negatively impact performance, experience conducting formal training and presentations with an ability to effectively communicate legal and fiscal procedure requirements.
・Ability to work within teams and independently with minimal supervision.
・Advance conversation high - business level of English
・Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
・Ability to work as part of a team.
・Must work extremely well under pressure.
・Strong training skills and experience.
