Job Description
<Job Responsibilities>
1. Plan and assign design tasks for Engineers and Senior Engineers based on project priorities.
2. Monitor project schedules, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to meet milestones (e.g., PPAP, APQP).
3. Facilitate regular design reviews, ensure documentation completeness, and enforce PLM processes.
4. Coordinate with manufacturing, quality, and purchasing to resolve technical issues and expedite sample builds.
5. Conduct performance evaluations, identify training needs, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
6. Ensure compliance with automotive standards (ISO 26262, ECE R48) and internal corporate guidelines.
7. Support budgeting for tooling, prototyping, and laboratory testing.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical/Optical Engineering.
- At least 8 years of work experience in Automotive component design,
- At least 2 years in a leadership role with direct subordinates.
- Expertise in CAD (CATIA/Siemens NX) and simulation tools (Ansys, Lighting Simulation).
- Familiarity with PLM/ERP systems and change management processes.
- Conversational High level in English for communication with international clients and the document.
