<Job Responsibilities> [Accounting System] - Close trial balances by verifying the processing of expenses, trade payables, and the accuracy and completeness of recorded transactions. - Analyze and investigate discrepancies in accounting data between accounting periods to ensure accurate and timely closing before submission. - Supervise and ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards. - Perform monthly closing of accounts and present results to Management Reports. - Control and verify the accuracy of expense recordings for executives. - Summarize results, analyze, and present accounting reports to support decision-making. - Verify the accuracy of payroll and social security payment documents for employees under Sugar Factory. - Support external auditors by providing required information and clarifications to ensure an accurate and compliant audit of the Sugar Factory's financial statements. - Analyze and monitor budget utilization, comparing budget estimates with actual expenses by department to provide data for future budget planning and improvements. - Prepare and submit monthly departmental budget reports for supervisory review and approval. [Budgeting] - Plan and prepare the budget for the Accounting and Finance Department to ensure efficiency. - Analyze and monitor budget utilization by comparing the budgeted amounts with actual expenses, broken down by department, to support future budget planning and improvement. - Prepare monthly budget usage summary reports for the department and present them to supervisors for review and approval. [Taxation] - Supervise and verify the accuracy of withholding tax filings and tax calculations before approving and submitting them to the Revenue Department within the required timeframe. - Follow up on the submission of accounting and financial documents as requested by the local Revenue Office for review. - Oversee the preparation and submission of the company's tax reports to ensure compliance with the Revenue Code. - Supervise the preparation of input and output VAT records by subordinates, including the review of tax invoice reports, input VAT, and output VAT reports. [Food Safety] Report any food safety-related issues to the responsible manager or supervisor.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, - At least 10 years in financial and accounting from manufacturing company - At least 5 years in a managerial or assistant manager role - Experiences in Month/year-end closing - Conversational High Level in English for communicate with Japanese Management - Proficient in Microsoft Office ex. Excel - Having SAP knowledge - CPD License <Others Skill> - Leadership Skill - Self-learning, having challenging spirit and leadership skill. - Good communication and corresponding well with team & cross function with cleared in conclusion. <Preferable Skill / Experience > - ISO 9001 Quality Management System, GHP & HACCP, Occupational Safety, Food Safety, and other relevant standards. - Proficiency in JD Edwards accounting software and knowledge of J-SOX compliance is an advantage. - CPA License
