Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Lead and oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including GL, AR, AP, Cost Accounting, Fixed Assets, and Inventory. - Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with strong timeline discipline. - Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and Thai statutory requirements. - Manage Standard and actual costing with detailed variance analysis - Manage Inventory accounting for Raw Materials, WIP, Finished Goods, including slow-moving/obsolete stock, cycle counts, and physical counts - Manage fixed assets and CAPEX(Capital expenditures) control, including CIP(Construction in Progress) tracking, depreciation, and impairment considerations - Prepare and submit group reporting packages to Japan HQ (quarterly and annual). - Handle IFRS adjustments, intercompany transactions, and reconciliations - Support group consolidation activities, including preparation of schedules, responding to HQ inquiries, and audit coordination. - Ensure full compliance with Thai statutory and tax requirements, including VAT, WHT, CIT, Deferred Tax, and Transfer Pricing (if applicable). - Maintain strong internal controls in line with Japanese HQ requirements, ensuring proper SOPs, documentation, audit trails, and segregation of duties. - Coordinate with and support external auditors, ensuring audit readiness and timely submission of required documentation. - Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control. - Lead, coach, and develop accounting team members, while collaborating closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Production, and Sales teams.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > - Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. - At least 8 years of experience working in an Accounting role in a manufacturing or firm company - At least 3 years of experience working in a managerial role - Communicational high level of English (internal and External, reports, documents, Email) - Strong practical knowledge of IFRS (hands-on reporting, not theory only). - Strong knowledge of Thai statutory accounting and taxation - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (ERP). - Experience supporting external audits with strong documentation and control. - Hold CPA License <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Master’s degree is a plus - Experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus. - Able to speak Japanese
