Job Description
<Job Responsibilities>
- Analyze financial information and prepare a financial statement report.
- Maintain a record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, and all financial activities.
- Analyze and improve the integrity of standard and current costs for products
- Ensure integrity between perpetual inventory records and G/L balances.
- Identify the causes of product cost differences or changes analyze costs of sales.
- Review all accounts and confirm the ending balance in the financial statement report.
- Calculate the cost of products.
- Calculate the ending balance of finished goods, work in process, raw materials, and parts.
- Prepare the consolidation package report.
- Support audit activities (J-SOX) and tax audit (VAT and Withholding).
- Analyze the condition and BOI (Purchase for BOI/Non BOI) relevant to company activities.
- Prepare and summarize the expenditure under the rights and benefits of BOI.
- Oversee corporate compliance with quality and environmental standards and policies.
- Ensure adherence to procedures and applicable legal requirements.
- Other tasks as assigned by the report line
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
- Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting
- At least 10 years of experience as an accountant in a BOI Manufacturing company
- At least 5 years of experience at the Assistant or Manager Level with Subordinates
- Holds CPD License (Continuing Professional Development)
(required to stay updated on financial reporting, cost accounting, tax regulations)
- Conversational, High level in English
(Report, documents, and communicate with the Japanese General Manager)
- Able to analyze financial data and prepare financial statement reports
- Understanding of Audit, BOI processes, and tax-related matters
(Have to supervise, support, and approve work for junior staff)
