Job Description
<Position Objective/Expectation> As a member of a newly established project team, you will be responsible for end-to-end licensing sales activities. This role serves as the primary sales contact for IP licensors holding rights to anime, films, and character properties, focusing on acquiring licensing approvals and building strong, long-term relationships. By accurately understanding and complying with licensing standards and usage guidelines (including character image, design, trademarks, and design rights), you will drive the realization of IP-based product commercialization and content distribution in the Vietnamese market. Leveraging your experience in client-facing roles, you will be expected to balance the needs of clients, creative teams, rights holders, and market requirements while effectively driving projects forward. Through building trust with licensors and proposing strategies that maximize IP value, you will contribute to mid- to long-term business growth. <Job Responsibilities> ・Initiate outreach to and build relationships with licensors holding IP rights for anime, films, and character properties ・Negotiate and coordinate licensing standards, usage terms, and contractual conditions ・Acquire licensing approvals for film distribution and character-based product commercialization in the Vietnamese market ・Manage and ensure compliance with guidelines related to character image, design, trademarks, and design rights ・Propose product planning and IP utilization strategies in collaboration with consumer goods, toy, and food manufacturers ・Coordinate closely with internal sales, marketing, and planning teams to manage project execution Maintain existing licensor relationships and develop long-term strategic partnerships
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > ・Age: 28-45 ・Gender: Any ・Education: Bachelor’s degree ・Language: English - Business Level (for meetings, presentations, and document preparation) ・Experience: At least 5 years of Account management experience and business development experience in Advertising agency, Marketing agency, PR/Events industry, Licensed business ・Skill: - Strong understanding of brand positioning, branding communication, retail business development function, retail distribution and the retail environment - Highly detail-oriented. Excellent organizational and project management skills - Excellent presentation & communication skills, able to multi-task - Analytical/Strategic Thinker - Self-starter, motivated, proactive, dependable, able to work in a fast-paced environment - Collaborative & Proactive. Open, Fair & Transparent mindset <Preferable Skill / Experience> ・Prior experience in licensing sales ・Experience in product development or marketing utilizing character IP at consumer goods, toy, or food manufacturers ・Experience in licensing-related roles within the anime, film, game, entertainment, or media industries ・Experience developing character-based marketing initiatives at advertising agencies ・Japanese language proficiency (business level or above)
