Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> 1. Support Import/Export Procedures - Preparation and verification of necessary trade documents (invoices, packing lists, B/Ls (bill of lading), etc.) - Support for customs procedures (preparation of application documents and communication with relevant authorities) - Collection and verification of information regarding tariffs and regulations as needed 2. Manage Trade Documents - Comprehensive management from document creation to storage - Verification of invoices and shipping lists - Issuance and arrangement of certificates of origin and quality certificates 3. Communicate with Customers and Business Partners - Communicate and coordinate with overseas business partners via phone and email (primarily in English) - Confirm trade terms (delivery dates, payment terms, etc.) and support for negotiations - Initial response to issues and coordination to resolve them 4. Support for shipping and customs clearance procedures - Management of transportation schedules and coordination with freight forwarders and warehouse operators - Preparation of documents required for customs clearance and communication with relevant authorities - Management and tracking of import/export schedules 5. Payment and foreign exchange-related tasks - Confirmation of payment terms for import/export transactions and support for settlement - Communication with banks and financial institutions (trade settlement methods such as L/C and T/T) - Gathering information on exchange rates and support for managing foreign exchange risk
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> ・Education: Graduated from college and above ・Gender: Any ・Age: 26-40 years old ・Language: English - Business Level ・Experience: - More than 4 years of experience in import/export. - Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) ・Other Skills: Strong communication skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances < Preferable Skill / Experience> - Can use Japanese - Experience in trade administration or international transactions at an EPE company is preferred - Has leadership experience
