Job Description

<Position Summary>
The R&D Supervisor is responsible for leading research and development activities related to printing inks. This role oversees formulation development, product improvement, raw material evaluation, technical troubleshooting, and coordination with production, QC, and sales teams to ensure product performance meets customer and market requirements.

<Key Responsibilities>
1. R&D Project Leadership
•	Lead and execute new ink formulation 
•	Improve existing ink properties.
•	Develop cost-optimized formulations while ensuring performance and safety compliance.
2. Technical Problem-Solving
•	Investigate and resolve customer complaints, printing defects…
•	Analyze root causes using laboratory tools 
•	Give technical guidance to Sales, QC, and Production teams.
3. Raw Material Evaluation & Supplier Management
•	Evaluate new material (resins, solvents, additives, pigments…).
•	Manage technical documentation (TDS, MSDS, COA…).
4. Team Management
•	Supervise R&D chemists, technicians, and interns.
•	Assign tasks, review results, and ensure project timelines are met.
5. Quality, Safety & Compliance
•	Ensure laboratory safety standards and chemical handling procedures.
•	Ensure products comply with customer requirements and industry regulations.

Job Requirement

<Necessary Skill / Experience>
・Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
・Language: English - Business Level
・Experience: 3+ years of experience in printing inks or related chemical manufacturing.
•	Good problem-solving skills and ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
•	Communication skills in English (technical reports, customer support).
