Job Description
<Position Objective / Expectation> - This position focuses mainly on new business development, selling the company’s fabrics, materials, and related products to apparel companies in Vietnam. - The role is responsible for developing new customers, conducting proposal-based sales, and expanding sales and long-term business relationships based on market trends and customer needs. <Job Responsibilities> 1. New Business Development & Sales (Main Responsibility) ・Develop new customers such as apparel companies, garment factories, and vendors in Vietnam ・Approach new clients, arrange meetings, and conduct proposal-based sales ・Understand customer needs (usage, quantity, quality, price range, etc.) ・Propose the company’s fabrics, materials, and accessories ・Handle the full sales process from samples and quotations to negotiation and order confirmation ・Develop new customers through exhibitions and existing networks ・Visit factories and conduct business meetings with suppliers around HCMC as needed 2. Existing Customer Management & Sales Growth ・Follow up with existing customers and make additional proposals ・Expand business by proposing new materials and new applications ・Build long-term relationships with customers 3. Production & Merchandising Support (Supporting Role) ・Confirm production feasibility, lead time, and cost based on sales proposals ・Arrange samples and follow up on progress ・Coordinate basic production matters with suppliers and factories ・Compare costs and organize pricing information ・Support basic delivery and quality coordination with customers 4. Internal & External Coordination ・Communicate and coordinate with the Japan headquarters and internal teams ・Report sales progress and sales forecasts ・Visit factories and suppliers as needed for sales and relationship building
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > ・Gender: Any ・Age: 30-45 ・Education: Bachelor ・Language Skills: English Business Level ・Experience - At least 4 years of new business development / new sales experience in Vietnam at a textile trading company, apparel company, or garment accessories company - Experience in a supervisory or management role (leading 1–2 subordinates or more) - Experience in supplier management or OEM management at a textile trading company, apparel company, or garment accessories company ・Others: - Not just order-taking, but able to proactively conduct needs analysis and make proposals - Highly motivated in business development and able to actively visit and approach client companies <Preferred Skills / Experience> - Language skills: Business-level Japanese
