<Position Objective/Expectation > This position has been created to strengthen the technical and production management capabilities of the overseas manufacturing site. The role is expected to lead process improvement initiatives in lost-wax precision casting while developing local staff and reinforcing the production organization. <Job Responsibilities> 1. Lost-Wax Manufacturing Technology - Provide technical guidance and drive improvements in the manufacturing process of lost-wax precision casting components - Analyze production issues (quality, yield, productivity, etc.) and propose and implement corrective actions - Develop and introduce technical measures to improve productivity and stabilize quality - Support prototype development of new casting parts and facilitate transition to mass production - Collaborate with the Japan-based technical team and share technical standards and knowledge 2. Team Management & Training - Provide hands-on technical training and OJT to local staff - Develop local team leaders by transferring technical and management knowledge - Manage team progress and conduct performance evaluations - Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards and enforce on-site rules - In the future, take broader responsibility for overall manufacturing department management 3. Factory Operation Support - Develop and manage production plans - Oversee equipment maintenance and inspections; evaluate introduction of new equipment - Support the establishment and operation of quality management systems This position is based at an overseas manufacturing site. Close collaboration with local staff is essential. Sensitivity to cultural differences and clear, respectful communication are required.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> ・Education: Bachelor's degree or higher ・Gender: Any ・Age: 32-42 years old ・Language: English or Japanese intermediate level (English preferred) ・Experience: - Minimum 5 years of practical experience in process control or process improvement, quality control within the manufacturing industry - Leadership experience ・Skill: - Knowledge of quality control methods and manufacturing process improvement techniques (e.g., QC tools) - Basic PC skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint) <Preferable Skill / Experience> ・Practical experience in lost-wax (investment) casting ・Experience in data collection and analysis for process improvement ・Experience working at an overseas manufacturing site ・Experience in equipment introduction or factory setup projects
