Job Description
<Responsibilities>
- Receive requests from other departments or propose improvements to reduce defect rates, costs, and streamline operations in the production process.
- Collect practical data, propose solutions, design, plan, manufacture, and implement improvements.
- Create plans and report progress to supervisors during the improvement process.
- Contact suppliers, monitor the progress of machining, and track the delivery of materials from suppliers.
- Monitor the effectiveness of improvements and make adjustments as needed.
- Transfer tools and successful improvements to relevant departments. Provide guidance on the correct use, maintenance, and repair of improvement tools.
- Support cost calculation for plastic injection products when requested.
- Assist the Production department with technical issues, setups, and troubleshooting malfunctions on the production line when necessary.
- Establish quality objectives.
- Perform corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Carry out other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

- Request that relevant departments provide clear and accurate data before starting any improvement project.
- Organize group discussions and present ideas to supervisors regarding improvement plans before making a final decision.
- Use company tools and computers for work. Be assured of confidentiality requirements.
- Request support from other departments for improvement activities according to the agreed-upon plan (e.g., human resources, machining, component purchasing, result monitoring, and evaluation).
- Request company funds for improvement activities.
- Require other departments to properly use, maintain, and repair the improvement tools.
Job Requirement
<Requirements>
- Education: Vocational school degree or higher, in Automation, Electrical-Electronics, or a related technical field.
- Language: Conversational English (ability to read and understand technical documents).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a Production Engineer / Improvement Engineer role or a related position in a manufacturing plant (plastic injection field is a plus).
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to use 2D (AutoCAD, etc.) or 3D (Inventor, SolidWorks, PTC Creo, etc.) drawing software.
- Ability to read and design automated systems. Knowledge of electrical-electronic components, mechanics, pneumatics, etc.
- Soft Skills: Teamwork skills, problem-solving skills, presentation skills, and negotiation skills.
- The ability to independently troubleshoot problems without supervision.
