Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> 1. Mold Design and CAD/CAM Operations - Mold Design: Designing mold structures and creating drawings using 3D CAD (FUSION, etc.). - CAM Data Creation: Creating machining paths, selecting cutting tools, and setting conditions for high-precision, high-speed machining. - DFM Proposals: Proposing improvements to mold structures to the product design team, considering manufacturing costs and quality. 2. Machine Tool Operation and Manufacturing Operations - Precision Machining: Part production using machining centers and other equipment. - Assembly and Adjustment: Mold assembly, fitting, and final hand finishing/polishing. - Measurement Control: Ensuring dimensional accuracy of machined parts. 3. Troubleshooting and Prototype Modification - Trial Run Support: Identifying causes based on prototype results (e.g., burrs, dimensional defects) and providing feedback to design. - On-Site Modification: Directly directing and executing program modifications or mold repairs (welding, re-machining) at the site. 4. Team Management and Guidance Process and Delivery Schedule Management: Progress management from design to completion and task allocation to team members. *This position requires going on business trips.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> ・Education: College ・Gender: Any ・Age: 25-35 years old ・Language: None ・Experience: - More than 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering (operating and programming milling machines, lathes, grinding machines, or CNC machining centers) - Practical knowledge of materials in cutting/grinding processes, setting machining conditions, and tool selection - Experience using 3D CAD software and CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Space-E, FUSION360) ・Skill： ‐ Ability to identify machining issues, analyze root causes, and swiftly implement corrective actions - Capability to collaborate closely with shop floor operators and design engineers, sharing information effectively - Skill in collecting productivity and quality data, proposing improvements based on statistical analysis < Preferred experience> ・English or Japanese intermediate level
