Job Description

<Job Responsibilities>
1. Optimization of Machining Processes and Condition Setting
Create and optimize CNC machining programs, and set/adjust machining conditions
Select cutting tools and manage tool life; review machining conditions to improve machining accuracy

2. Planning New Machining Processes and Prototype Development
Plan machining methods for new products and new components, and provide technical support for prototype production
Evaluate machining processes at the prototype stage and implement process improvements for mass production

3. Equipment Management and Maintenance Planning
Monitor the condition of machining equipment and develop preventive maintenance and repair plans
Investigate root causes and respond promptly to machine troubles

4. Standardization of Production Processes and Work Instruction Preparation
Standardize processes to ensure stable product quality
Prepare work instructions and provide training and guidance to operators

5. Improvement Activities for Machining Accuracy and Productivity
Review overall machining processes and propose improvements to enhance quality and reduce costs
Support workflow improvements and automation implementation to increase productivity

6. Cross-Department Coordination and Project Management
Collaborate with design and quality control departments to resolve manufacturing technical issues and support new projects
Monitor project progress and report updates to related departments

7. Environmental Measures and Safety Management
Implement energy-saving initiatives and ensure workplace safety management

Job Requirement

<Necessary Skill / Experience>
・Language: English - Conversational Level
・Experience:
       - 5 years of experience operating or programming milling machines, lathes, grinding machines, or CNC machining equipment
       - Experience using 2D/3D CAD and CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Space-E, Fusion 360, etc.)

・Skills & Knowledge: 
       - Practical knowledge of materials, machining conditions, and tool selection in cutting and grinding processes
       - Ability to identify machining issues, analyze root causes, and implement improvements quickly
       - Ability to closely collaborate and share information with shop floor operators and design engineers
       - Ability to collect productivity and quality data and propose improvements based on statistical analysis

・Basic PC skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
・Soft skills: Communication skills, problem-solving ability, flexibility, and adaptability

<Preferable Skill / Experience>
・Japanese language ability is a plus
