Job Description
<Position Objective/Expectation > - Aim to streamline and optimize all aspects of logistics, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory management, to maintain a stable supply system. - Achieve cost reduction, quality improvement, and on-time delivery to maximize customer satisfaction. - Promote the introduction, operation, and improvement of logistics systems such as WMS/TMS. - Manage the Vietnamese team and act as a bridge between the Vietnamese team and the Japanese management layer. <Job Responsibilities> 1. Warehouse Management - Accurate management of inbound/outbound and inventory (FIFO/FEFO, expiration dates, temperature control, etc.) - Daily/monthly inventory difference checks, preparation of inventory reports, and root cause analysis. - Coaching and development of warehouse staff (warehouse administrators, picking, labeling, inspection staff, etc.). - Promote continuous improvement activities for operational efficiency, safety, and storage quality. 2. Transportation & Delivery - Planning and execution management of delivery plans (vehicles, drivers, routes). - KPI management and improvement for delivery time, cost, accidents, and claims. - Contracting, cost negotiation, and monthly evaluation with transport companies (3PL). - Control of processes for delivery slips and evidence management, including cash collection (COD). 3. System Operation & Process Improvement - Introduction, operation, and improvement of logistics-related systems (WMS/TMS, ERP, etc.). - Ensure data consistency through collaboration with Sales, Accounting, and IT. - Propose and execute logistics cost reduction (fuel, route optimization, loading rate improvement, etc.). - Regular reporting of logistics KPIs (OTD, Cost Rate, Work Productivity, etc.). 4. Organizational & People Management - Management of the Warehouse and Delivery departments (approx. 70 staff). - Talent development, including training, safety management, and evaluation (KPI/results-based). - Management of attendance, labor affairs, discipline, and maintenance of team motivation. - Promotion of on-site improvement suggestions and the team's PDCA cycle.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > ・Language: English - Conversational Level or higher (minimum reading/writing emails) ・Experience: - Over 3 years of experience as a warehouse manager (experience handling food products). - Management experience in a supervisory/managerial position. - Possession of a forklift license and experience in safety and health management. - Experience in WMS implementation. - Knowledge of fire laws and experience dealing with Fire Police and Public Security in warehouse operations. - Experience in vehicle management and creating delivery routes. - Experience negotiating with various logistics companies. <Preferable Skill / Experience> ・Excellent English proficiency is a plus. ・Experience in managing chilled and frozen warehouses. ・Experience in TMS implementation and operation. ・Experience in warehouse setup/launch (start-up).
