Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Review machining drawings, determine the most suitable manufacturing method, identify qualified existing or new suppliers, and obtain the most competitive quotations - Handle procurement activities with the Japan headquarters and suppliers - Conduct supplier audits and evaluate/select new suppliers - Manage the storage and inventory of procured materials - Coordinate shipment of finished products - Manage supplier performance, monitor delivery schedules, process supplier payments, and drive cost reduction initiatives - Perform other procurement and warehouse management duties as assigned by the supervisor
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Bachelor's Degree - At least 1 year of purchasing/procurement experience - Language: Japanese Intermediate Level (N3 or above) and English Intermediate Level - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, with a solid understanding of drawing symbols and specifications - Knowledge of machining and manufacturing processes - Ability to assess suppliers' manufacturing processes and evaluate their quality control systems
