<Job Responsibilities>
You will be responsible for forklift mechanical components design
- Responsible for the design, development, and release of components for new forklift models and options.
- Develop a wide range of parts including welded steel assemblies, metal castings, plastics, rubbers, multi-part assemblies, and hydraulic systems.
- Develop 3D models, 2D drawings, and study files using Siemens NX, and manage data files in PLM software.
- Ensure drawing quality by considering design intent, materials, quality control characteristics, dimensions, tolerances, product requirements, and clarity.
- Able to validate designs by using FEA software.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability, cost, quality, and delivery of new products.
- Create and manage simultaneous engineering design documents like DFMEAs, part lists (BOM), and engineering change instructions (ECN).
- Might have opportunity for training in Japan for 2 years (not mandatory)
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience>
• Education: Bachelor's Degree with a major in Mechanical Engineering (must meet criteria for fresh graduates)
• Gender: Any
• Age: 22 - 35 years old
• Language: Japanese Conversational Level (N3 and above) and English Conversational Level (TOEIC 500) (for communication with the Engineering Department in Japan, usually reading documents, email and chat, smooth communication ability not required)
• Experience:
- Welcome fresh graduates with basic knowledge of Mechanical Engineering
- Ideal candidates have 1~3 years of working experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
<Preferable Skill/ Experience>
• Candidates with experience in material handling, automotive, or heavy equipment design
• Prefer 3D CAD (Siemens NX preferred) and PLM system experience.
