Job Description
<Job Responsibilities>
1. Business development:
- Target new clients through brokers, proactively plan, and take action on new business opportunities, to bring the Company’s products to new clients and businesses.
- Take good care of the client’s portfolio assigned by the managers and propose new insurance line to the client to maximize the business opportunity.
2. Client Service:
- Review the renewal list for timely reminders to clients
- Offer quotations for clients
- Coordinate with the back staff to get insurance policies
- Look for new clients, new agents, approach clients, sell insurance, and take care of clients
- Conduct non-life insurance seminars for both current and potential clients (explain the cover of the insurance policy and the claim procedure)
- Coordinate risk management seminars for existing clients
- Access the risk reasonably at clients’ sites as basic for offering quotation, together with the help of the technical division to execute risk survey at clients’ sites.
- Attend client enquiries.
3. Outstanding/ Unclear Premium:
- Collaborate with the back staff or the assigned person in charge of Outstanding Report in order to ensure premium collection is fully and timely
4. Business Administration:
- Report any unusual problems to managers.
5. To coordinate related Divisions / Departments for all related jobs.
6. Other tasks as assigned by line management
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
・Education: University or College graduation.
・Language: Japanese and English - Business Level
・Experience: At least 2 years of sales experience in any industry
<Skills>
- Strong marketing sense.
- Clearly understand the working procedure and flow chart.
- Know well all insurance products and be able to explain to clients their coverage.
- Be highly aware of the requirement to be professional to provide high-quality service to clients
< Preferred Experience>
- Having experience in insurance industry or financial products
