Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> Handle daily accounting operations (journal entries, payment processing, invoice issuance, expense reimbursement); daily internal approval procedure: ・ Review contracts from an Accounting/Tax perspective upon ad-hoc requests from other departments. ・ Manage financial operations such as cash flow planning, bank communication, foreign remittance. ・ Optimize the accounting team structure and drive process improvements ・ Record accurate inventory with FIFO/LIFO standard ・ Analyze inventory turnover, obsolescence, propose corrective actions. ・ Monitor and report abnormal inventory (near-expired, goods return, damaged stock), coordinating timely rework, resale, or disposal actions with relevant teams. ・ Plan and execute regular cycle count and ending year audits ・ Conduct systematic reconciliation between accounting books and physical stock monthly/quarterly. ・ Support month-end and year-end closing for inventory costing, COGS, and valuation adjustments. ・ Other tasks (if any)
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > ・Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting majors ・Gender: Any ・Age: Any ・Language: Japanese Conversational Level (from JLPT N3 - sufficient for basic business communication in daily work). ・Experience: - Experience in manufacturing accounting with minimum 5 years in Inventory Accounting, Cost Accounting, or Inventory Control. - Require Chief Accountant Certificate - Can use Microsoft office and Fast accounting. <Preferable Skill / Experience> - Can use English - Experience in team management is an advantage. <Preferable personality> - Good organizing, planning and managing abilities. - Great attention to detail. - Good communication, logical thinking.
