Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> 1. Key account management: - Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop them into long-term strategic accounts. - Issue handling and risk management: Take ownership to solve delivery delays, quality complaints, payment delays, inventory issues, and cost gap matters, aging stocks… - Customer visit and market development: Regularly visit customers to understand demand, market information, competitor situation, and future projects. - Quotation and negotiation: Prepare quotation, negotiate price and commercial terms with customers while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams. - Profit and cost control: Monitor gross profit, logistics cost, inventory cost, and other related expenses to improve business performance. - Supplier communication: Work closely with suppliers to discuss pricing, allocation, technical support, sample arrangement, delivery schedule, and claim handling. - Market information sharing: Collect and report market trends, customer demand, competitor activities, and new potential applications. - Connections with government, industry, and chemical industry stakeholders. 2. New business development: - Identify potential customers, approach new projects, develop business opportunities, and expand sales volume/profit. - The same requirement as Key account management above 3. Additional Responsibilities - Support Manager when being asked - Being approactive in business management - Be ready to take on new challenges and tasks assigned by Managers.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Language Skill: English - Business Level (Good verbal and written English) - Solid logistics experience, including import/export, HS code classification, Incoterms, and international trade. - At least 5 years of B2B sales experience in industrial, chemical, automotive, electronics, or manufacturing sectors. - Experience in key account management, including pricing, contracts, delivery coordination, and customer relationship management. - Strong negotiation and communication skills. - Ability to coordinate with suppliers and customers to ensure commercial and operational efficiency. - Experience in sales planning, forecasting, budget, and profit management. - Proficient in MS Excel; basic knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure. <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - Able to communicate in Japanese - SAP operation experience is preferable - Cooperative, detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive, with a Kaizen mindset.
