Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Supervise daily quality control activities, including Incoming Quality Control (IQC), In-Process Quality Control (IPQC), and Outgoing Quality Control (OQC). - Ensure products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and company requirements. - Monitor quality performance and analyze quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. - Investigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). - Handle customer complaints and coordinate with related departments to ensure timely resolution. - Lead quality improvement activities using QC tools, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologies. - Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IATF 16949, customer requirements, and company quality procedures. - Manage, train, coach, and evaluate QC inspectors and technicians. - Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, Production Planning (PPC), Purchasing, and suppliers to improve product quality. - Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports for management. - Support internal audits, customer audits, and external certification audits.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. - Business English proficiency (both written and spoken). - Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Control within a manufacturing environment. - At least 2 years of supervisory or team leader experience in quality management. - Understanding of quality management systems and quality control methodologies; Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 requirements; Familiarity with 7 QC Tools, PDCA, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA, APQP, and PPAP. - Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Good analytical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills. - Strong reporting and presentation skills. - High sense of responsibility and accountability. - Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. - Honest, reliable, and objective. - Ability to work effectively under pressure. - Continuous improvement mindset (Kaizen). - Strong teamwork and leadership attitude. <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - Experience in the electronics, automotive, electrical equipment, or precision manufacturing industry is preferred. - Experience working in a Japanese manufacturing company is an advantage. - Experience in Motor manufacturing or the electronics manufacturing industry. - Experience with customer quality requirements from global customers. - Knowledge of statistical analysis and quality management software. - Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 is an advantage. - Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma is preferred.
