<Job Description> • Execute tasks assigned by the Management Board/Factory Manager - Provide recommendations and support to the Factory Manager in operating the workshop; develop daily/monthly/quarterly production plans for approval, and take responsibility for implementing approved plans. - Support the Factory Manager in supervising and motivating production teams/groups to achieve targets and follow assigned processes and regulations. - Monitor daily/weekly/monthly production activities; identify operational issues, analyze root causes, and propose corrective actions. - Promptly report any issues related to productivity, quality, equipment, manpower, etc., to the Factory Manager for timely direction and resolution. • Directly manage and operate production activities in the workshop - Organize and supervise workshop production activities under the Factory Manager’s direction. - Directly lead Team Leaders and Group Leaders within the assigned production area to ensure smooth coordination and effective task execution. - Manage the workforce and production lines as assigned by the Factory Manager. - Monitor and control production processes, productivity, and quality during each shift; ensure efficient operations and prevent delays. - Frequently inspect and evaluate process non-conformities (personnel allocation, workflow coordination, equipment conditions, etc.); determine root causes and propose corrective and preventive actions. - Regularly check machinery and equipment during operations to ensure stable, error-free performance. - Develop, instruct, and supervise the implementation of production procedures and work instructions as directed by the Factory Manager. • Responsible for personnel management and training - Assign daily tasks and provide guidance to workshop workers. - Instruct workers on proper procedures and compliance with safety regulations, environmental hygiene, and fire prevention within the production area. - Assist in establishing standard operating procedures and participate in training and upskilling employees. - Support the Factory Manager in evaluating worker skill levels, approving rank/grade adjustments, recommending salary increases, and proposing rewards for production staff. - Supervise workers to ensure job completion; remind staff to organize materials and maintain cleanliness at the end of each shift. - Closely monitor and proactively support workers’ well-being, addressing their needs in a timely manner. • Other duties - Act on behalf of the Factory Manager to organize and lead regular or ad-hoc meetings with Team Leaders and Group Leaders when the Factory Manager is absent. - Handle issues and operational matters assigned by the Factory Manager during their absence. - Propose internal rules and regulations for the workshop. - Prepare weekly and monthly reports for the Factory Manager and Management Board. - Perform other tasks as assigned by the Factory Manager and upper management.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > ・Education: Bachelor’s degree ・Gender: Any ・Age: 40 years old and above ・Languages: English or Japanese - Business level (reporting directly to a Japanese General Director) <Preferred Skills / Experience> ・Preferably Japanese proficiency equivalent to N3, or basic English for office communication. ・Prefer candidates with a Chemical Engineering major or background in chemical-related fields.
