Job Description
<Expectation>
・Our company is a trading company that provides proposal-based sales of industrial machinery and equipment. We offer various solutions to help solve our clients’ challenges.
・In this position, you will be responsible for site management of solar panel installation projects for Japanese manufacturing companies, helping them reduce electricity costs.
・Your main mission is to coordinate and communicate between Japanese clients and local EPC companies.
・This is a short-term contract position. You will mainly manage three construction projects. Depending on future project orders, there is a possibility of long-term employment.
<Job Responsibilities>
・Project Management
- Manage the construction schedule.
- Monitor and adjust progress to prevent delays.
・Quality Control
- Check that the construction is proceeding according to specifications.
- Create and manage quality records.
・Safety Management
- Provide guidance and checks on safety measures.
・External Coordination and Reporting
- Participate in morning meetings with subcontracted EPC companies and share status updates.
- Report progress to the reporting line.
- Attend meetings with clients and provide status updates.
<Expected Project Schedules>
As mentioned, there are 3 projects
1st project: VSIP1
from the middle of April ~June 2026
2nd project: Bien Hoa
from June 2026 ~ Septmber 2026
3rd project: Vinh Long Province
from October 2026 ~ January 2027
*There may be slight schedule changes depending on the construction status.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience >
・Education:
- Bachelor's degree
or
- Vocational school majoring in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
・Language: English, Intermediate level
for internal and external use. Writing minutes, talking with the Client, etc.
・Experience
- More than 4 years of experience in construction management (experience in infrastructure or road projects is also acceptable)
- Experience working on projects with strict safety standards or Japanese construction projects
- Being no issues working at heights (solar panels are typically installed on rooftops, around 10 meters above ground, with proper safety measures in place)
- Basic electrical knowledge is required due to the nature of solar panel installation work
<Preferred skill>
- More than 4 years of experience as a site supervisor for "solar panel construction projects" at a Japanese general contractor or Japanese construction company.
- Have experience in coordinating between clients and subcontracted construction companies.
