Our client, a Japanese department store is looking for a Japanese speaking Assistant Buyer (Health & Beauty Care).
Job Description
• Source and reach potential suppliers to source new products to provide diversify the product portfolio
• Managing order placement and arrange all the related materials and samples
• Negotiate with vendors to achieve competitive prices and terms
• Responsible for cost analysis and budget control
• Closely work with Japan HQ, overseas vendors and logistics companies
• Monitoring orders and ensure deliveries in timely manner
• Ensure the information is updated in internal system and handle merchandising related documents.
Requirements
• Degree holder in Business Administration/Logistics or related disciplines;
• 2 years or above related experience Fashion or Household Purchasing will be advantageous
• Good command of spoken and written English, and Mandarin with excellent in spoken and written Japanese
(JLPT N2 or above)
• Previous exposure in reputable chain-store operations will be advantageous;
• Good product sense & well-organized with excellent communication & negotiation tactics
• Be numerate, self-motivated as well as customer focus mindset
• Detail-minded and organized personality;
• Proficiency with MS Office and Excel;
• Candidate with more experience will be considered for the post of Buyer.
• Immediate available is highly preferred.

14,500 – 20,000 HKD ; (For Buyer – 21,000 – 22,000 HKD)
