- Liaise with key company employees to determine their product and service needs; to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company
- Buy all except direct inventory which belongs to Inbound logistics; especially in charge of buying items assigned as at each period
- Ensure the purchasing activities not only meet company target in term of lead time, standardization, quantity, quality, budget and profit rate but also ensure compliance to process or guidelines
- Manage every aspect of the supply chain and notify the direct supervisor of any possible obstacles to ideal efficiency
- Perform cost analysis and set appropriate benchmarks
- Follow up, examine and test existing contracts
- Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control planning
- Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
- Develop and execute new improved procurement planning across all channels of purchasing
- Nurture relationships with suppliers to negotiate the best prices for company but ensure code of conduct of purchasing
- Build and develop KPIs for new and existing suppliers
- Develop purchasing activities into system to reduce manual workforce
- Coordinate with IT to build up and improve the system

<Necessary Skills / Experience>
- Gender: any
- Age: 25-35
- Education: Bachelor
- English: business level
- Computing: MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- 4+ years of work experience as Purchaser / Merchandiser in any industry

<Preferable Skills / Experience>
- Knowledgeable about purchasing process, database development and performance measurement
- Experience on Excel database
