Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Develop new business opportunities and expand the customer base, especially among non-Japanese customers. - Acquire new customers for freight forwarding, cold chain, and other logistics services. - Explore new business opportunities in food, fruit, frozen cargo, seafood, and other cold chain products - Develop customer relationships and grow existing accounts - Prepare quotations, collect cost information, and submit quotations to customers and related internal departments accurately and on time. - Negotiate with suppliers and control service costs to ensure competitive pricing - Maintain regular communication with customers and suppliers, and report business progress and challenges to the manager. - Coordinate with the Operations team and suppliers to meet customer requirements. - Perform other related duties as assigned. Job Requirement
<Necessary Skills / Experience > ・Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field ・Language: English - Business Level ・Experience: - At least 2 years’ experience in logistics sales/ forwarder/customs broker/cold chain at a freight forwarding or logistics company is preferred. - Experience in new business development, especially with non-Japanese customers. - Experience with Japanese company working style is preferred. ・A strong sales hunting mindset, with a focus on acquiring new customers rather than only managing existing accounts. ・Good knowledge of logistics services, including ocean freight, air freight, customs clearance, trucking, and warehousing (including cold storage warehouses) ・Good communication, negotiation, analytical, and pricing skills.
