Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> This position belongs to the Engineering Department. • Serve as the technical liaison between team members and subcontractors • Evaluate and coordinate specifications and structure of finished products and components • Provide technical support utilizing molding and die/mold technologies • Provide technical assistance for assembly and structural design • Improve production processes at EMS subcontractors, including jig design/fabrication and selection of key equipment (related to quality, 5S, production technology, etc.) • Analyze costs and negotiate cost reductions (cost down activities) • Promote quality improvement initiatives and coordinate improvements with suppliers • Manage and drive overall project schedules • Oversee all aspects of project management
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience > ・Education: Bachelor's degree ・Age: 30-50 ・Gender: Male ・Language: Japanese Business Level Ability to communicate effectively in Japanese, including technical terminology (frequent reporting to supervisors in Vietnam and headquarters in Japan) ・Experience: - In-depth knowledge of molded parts processing and injection mold tooling (Capable of conducting technical discussions on design and processing with customers, and guiding suppliers) - Minimum 5 years of practical experience in the above fields - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel <Preferable Skill / Experience> ・We welcome candidates who can identify issues before mass production and propose productivity improvements. ・Candidates with the following skills and experience are highly preferred: - Experience in manufacturing drive system products - Experience in production engineering - Experience in component design related to machining, sheet metal, or molding - Knowledge of mold/die design - Experience in providing technical guidance to subcontractors - Proficiency in CAD software
