Job Description
<Job Responsibilities>
1. Production Planning & Management
• Support the Board of Directors in developing annual business, manpower, and equipment investment plans.
• Plan, issue production orders, and coordinate production schedules to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Manage production lines efficiently to optimize productivity and material utilization.
• Lead trial production and mass production launches for new products.
2. Quality, 5S & Safety Management
• Monitor the quality of semi-finished and finished products; investigate root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Handle customer complaints and feedback, and prepare regular quality reports.
• Maintain 5S activities, conduct risk assessments, and implement workplace safety improvements.
3. Supply Chain & Warehouse Management
• Control purchasing processes and approve purchase requests from internal departments.
• Oversee inventory control, including inbound/outbound operations, stocktaking, and warehouse documentation.
• Coordinate production schedules and support product preparation and packaging for shipment.
4. Equipment, Mold & Environmental Management
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for production equipment, measuring instruments, molds, and jigs.
• Propose equipment improvement initiatives to enhance factory efficiency.
• Manage production waste and implement measures to reduce material loss and disposal.
5. People & Documentation Management
• Plan annual manpower requirements and participate in recruitment, interviews, training, and skill evaluation for production employees.
• Ensure workplace safety and monitor the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in hazardous work areas.
• Develop, revise, and control production procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience>
• Educational Background: College degree or above.
• Language skills: Japanese proficiency at JLPT N3 level or above with good communication skills is preferred.
• Working Experience & Skills:
- At least 3 years of experience in production management within a manufacturing company.
- Strong knowledge of production improvement and continuous improvement activities.
Others:
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and logical thinking skills.
• Experience in preparing reports for management meetings.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage and communicate effectively with subordinates.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Responsible, proactive, dedicated, and willing to learn.
• Strong sense of responsibility, creativity, and continuous improvement mindset.
<Preferable Skill/ Experience>
• Major in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
• Japanese proficiency at JLPT N3 level or above with good communication skills is preferred.
• Candidates living within approximately 10 km of the factory are preferred
