Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> - Declare customs for import goods: Check document sets, import purposes, and determine suitable declaration types (raw materials, goods, machinery, tools & supplies). Coordinate with customs service providers to ensure timely clearance. - Declare customs for export goods: Handle procedures for export, including foreign exports and local import-export. Prepare invoices, packing lists, internal delivery notes, and related documents. - Control declaration types: Execute and monitor various actual customs declaration types: A12, B11, E31, E62, A41, H11, E21, E52, G13, G23, A42,... - Special customs procedures: Register for quality inspection, inspection/declaration of conformity, change of usage purpose, temporary import for re-export, re-import for repair, tax exemption/refund, and other arising procedures. - Customs settlement report: Prepare and control settlement reports for export processing; cross-check import, export, production, consumption, BOM, and inventory data periodically to handle discrepancies. - Manage trade remedy exempted goods: Monitor import, usage, production, and inventory of goods exempted from anti-dumping/trade remedy measures. - Exemption application dossier: Prepare annual/supplementary exemption application dossiers; track allocated quotas, quantities used, and remaining amounts per declaration. - Track import shipments: Monitor ETA, shipment schedules; check Arrival Notice, container/yard storage time, warehouse receiving capacity; coordinate delivery and receipt plans. - Coordinate with shipping lines & forwarders: Check local charges, Debit Notes, related costs; work with shipping lines, forwarders, and customs agents to handle issues. - Transportation coordination: Arrange delivery vehicles; coordinate with Sales, Warehouse, and carriers to ensure delivery schedules. - Control logistics costs: Collect and compare transportation/logistics quotations; propose suitable solutions for new routes/business. - Manage ERP data: Input and update PO, Contract, Shipping List, delivery notes, and logistics documents on the ERP system. - Handle logistics incidents: Coordinate resolution of customs clearance, delivery, container, cargo, and transportation issues until completion. - Support insurance claims: Prepare documentation for insurance compensation (import documents, Arrival Notice, EIR, port handover minutes, etc.). - Support sales: Advise on customs procedures, documents, logistics costs, compliance risks for customers, orders, new routes, or new business. - Compliance & legal: Monitor changes in import-export, customs, tax, trade remedy regulations; assess impact and guide departments on implementation. - Reporting: Perform periodic reporting; store customs declarations and import-export documents fully and accurately for post-clearance checks/audits.
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skill / Experience> - Education: Bachelor's degree in Import-Export, Logistics, Customs, International Trade, International Business, or related fields - Experience: At least 3 years of experience in Import-Export/Customs; preference for candidates from manufacturing or EPE companies - Language: English - Business Level - Proficient in MS Excel and office software; preference for ERP system knowledge - Strong analytical, data cross-checking, problem-solving, and schedule management skills; careful, honest, proactive, and highly responsible <Preferable Skill/ Experience> - Experience in steel production, mechanical engineering companies, or companies using imported raw materials. - Experience with export processing customs declaration type, customs settlement reports, BOM management, consumption norms, and inventory reconciliation. - Has prepared anti-dumping / trade remedy exemption dossiers. - Experience working directly with Customs authorities and post-clearance inspection.
