Job Description
<Job Responsibilities> 1. General Ledger & Closing ・Manage the General Ledger, prepare journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure proper cut-off ・Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closing and Group reporting ・Reconcile sub-ledgers such as AP, AR, Inventory, and Fixed Assets with the GL and investigate variances 2. Financial & Cost Analysis ・Analyze variances in revenue, manufacturing costs, Gross Profit, OPEX, and Working Capital ・Investigate and report significant fluctuations and unusual transactions 3. Fixed Assets & Import Accounting ・Manage the Fixed Asset Register, Capex, and depreciation ・Handle accounting and cost treatment for import-related costs such as customs duties, import VAT, and freight 4. Tax & Intercompany ・Support VAT, CIT, FCT, PIT, and other tax compliance matters ・Reconcile and resolve differences in Intercompany transactions and balances with overseas Group companies 5. Audit & Reporting ・Prepare financial information and supporting documents for Group reporting ・Support internal and external audits ・Ensure compliance with Group Accounting Policies and applicable Vietnamese accounting and tax regulations
Job Requirement
<Necessary Skills / Experience> ・Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or Auditing ・Language Skills: English: Business level ・Experience: - Around 5 years of accounting experience in the manufacturing industry - Practical experience in General Ledger (GL), month-end closing, financial reporting, and inventory/cost accounting - Experience using ERP systems (Epicor is preferred) - Strong knowledge of Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS) and Vietnamese tax regulations - Practical skills in Microsoft Excel - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills ・Others: - English communication and reporting skills for working with the Group Finance team are a plus - ACCA, Vietnam CPA, or equivalent professional certification, or experience studying toward such qualifications, is a plus - Detail-oriented, accurate, and able to meet monthly reporting deadlines
