Job Description

<Job Responsibilities>
- Manage all activities of the accounting department at the Branch
- Support training, development, and performance management of accounting staff
- Supervise and ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions
- Review and ensure validity and compliance of invoices and accounting documents
- Participate in the preparation of tax reports and tax finalization, ensuring compliance with regulations and deadlines
- Control payment processes including cash flow, accounts payable, beneficiaries, etc.
- Prepare financial statements of the Branch and internal reports
- Assist the Chief Accountant in preparing annual audited financial statements and consolidated reports
- Prepare and control WIP reports: Calculate material consumption, compare with actual inventory, analyze and clarify discrepancies
- Review product costing and analyze monthly cost fluctuations
- Record and manage expenses related to salaries, bonuses, and personal income tax (PIT)
- Prepare internal reports as required (cash flow, aging of receivables/payables, financial analysis, etc.)
- Support the preparation and monitoring of the Branch's annual budget
- Liaise with authorities (tax authorities, banks, regulatory bodies, etc.) when required
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Chief Accountant and the BOD

Job Requirement

<Necessary Skill / Experience>
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or related fields
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar position
- Knowledge of current accounting principles, tax regulations, and electronic invoices
- Proficient in English or Japanese
- Careful, honest, and responsible in work

<Preferable Skill/ Experience>
- Preferably with knowledge and experience working in export processing enterprises (EPEs)
- Proficient in English or Japanese (Japanese preferred)
