Job Description
- Responsible for organizing and maintaining suppliers record for the purchase of all goods, services and contracts on a best price / best quality basis.
- Controlling the purchase and supply of all procured items & services.
- Analyze market trends to identify potential suppliers and negotiate contracts.
- Negotiating price and terms of products with suppliers.
- Managing, developing & improving the purchasing team.
- Preparing & processing requisitions, purchase orders & invoices for purchases.
- Develop and implement strategies for purchasing area aligned with the company’s food and beverage objectives.
- Maintain all records needed for accounting.
- Manage the operation of the purchasing department; train employees on proper goods receiving and storage methods
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast future needs to minimize shortages.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product offerings and reduce costs.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- Business level English proficiency.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement with latest position as Asst. Manager or 5 years as Supervisor in the F&B (food sector)
- Have good communication and negotiation skills, and possess good professional ethics.
- Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of cost savings.
- Proficient in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in Excel and numerical analysis, margin and profitability.
