This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading Logistics & Trading group in Hong Kong which has businesses around the globe. My client is now actively seeking a Head of Research to lead the team of 5 in the Research Department:
- You are required to hold a MBA Degree or Master degree in Business, Mathematics, Economics, Finance or other related disciplines
- Professional qualifications including CFA will be an advantage
- Over 8 years of experience in Business / Equity Research in any field preferably in Investment Banks / top-tier Financial Institutions
- Expert-level in Analytical and Financial Modeling
- Relentless about publishing accurate data and verified facts
- Strong knowledge of Consumer / Retail / Retail Technology sectors
- Report to the expatriate Research Director
- Perform valid and reliable SWOT analysis
- Provide competitive analysis on various companies’ market offerings, identify market trends, pricing / business models, sales and methods of operation
- Design and compile research reports, publications, presentations, quarterly and year-end reporting initiatives to provide findings, insights and support in providing recommendations to senior management and for various business units of the Group
- Proofread, edit and provide guidance to work performed by the Research Analysts
- Represent the Global Team at industry events and conferences
