Our client is listed and among the oldest companies in Hong Kong. Enjoying success in its businesses in leisure, entertainment and property development sectors, they are seeking a senior accounting professional:
The role
•Focuses on financial and management reporting, including month end and year end accounts closing, financial/budgetary control and financial analysis
•Manages the monthly consolidation reports
•Responsible for statutory audit and tax filing
•Helps enhancing the appropriate operational/internal controls on the accounting process, financial procedures and compliances
•Participates in ad-hoc projects and takes part in corporate finance activities as assigned
Requirements
•Degree in Accounting, Business or related disciplines, with recognized accounting professional qualifications
•Experience from 5 years' up of working in Big 4 CPA firms
•Updated knowledge in the latest HK accounting standards and taxation reporting requirements
•Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, knowledge in Mandarin is a plus. Native English level is a definite advantage.
•Proficiency in MS Office application and knowledge of SUN and MYOB accounting systems
•Task-oriented, energetic, self-motivated, detail-minded, able to work and manage projects independently
•Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
•Immediately availability is an advantage
