QA/QC Manager - Power Plant

Position Name: QA/QC Manager – Power Plant

Reporting Line: Manager – Japanese

Work Location: Jakarta Based (Sudirman), but need to do site visit frequently (Jepara & Cirebon)

<Responsibilities>

1. For establishment and maintenance for Quality Management System in the company

A) To generate, review and confirm the company regulation, guidelines and work instructions in accordance with company standard and ISO 9001 to be shown further.

B) Manage and keep the established Quality management System and related document in the company.

C) To generate the procedure related to the contractual and product liability based on company guideline.

2. For Quality Activity of On Shore procurement

A) Arrangement control of own inspector / Third party inspection agency for on-shore procured products

B) Review for the Inspection and test plan and the test procedure of vendor and/or manufacturer to meet customer specification and demand.

C) Preparation of customer witness and communication with customer, vendor, Government Authority and own inspector / Third party inspection agency

D) Control and management of Non-Conformity discovered at Vendor’s Factory / works

E) Control and management of Non-Conformity discovered at construction Site coordinating with site QA/QC Manager and related company engineer and/or designer.

F) Quality Record Collection and Review 

G) Status Control of Witness Inspection Progress in onshore vendor and site construction

H) Vendor Quality Audit and evaluation during Manufacturing and support company Audit, if any.

I) Control and Management for statutory certificate and evidence in all process of subject project including site construction. 

J) Making periodically inspection progress report in on shore supply procurement and relevant constructed site.

<Minimum Qualification>

 Experience on thermal power construction projects more than 5 years as QA/QC 

Or experience on working in product manufacturing shop such as vessel manufacturer, piping fabricator and etc. related to any construction projects more than 10 years as QA/QC located in Indonesia or oversea

 Skill of speaking and writing in English

 General PC Skill 

 Coordination and Management Skill 

Should have knowledge as below; 

 Well Versed with ISO 9001, 10006 and etc.

 Well Versed with Indonesia Local Statutory Regulation 

 Audit Skill

 Well Versed with relevant Latest International Code & Standard

 Dealing with Vendors, monitor and handle their quality of work/service

 Area handing Over control in construction site

 Documentation Reviewing for all phases

 Punch list control and management for construction site

<Desirable Experiences>

※In case his/her background is Mechanical portion and /or welding, should have specific knowledge as followings; 

 Well Versed with ASME / AWS / ISO and relevant international Code and Standard

 Well versed with welding, NDE and heat treatment 

 Supervision of welding, NDE and heat treatment

 Basic Material Methodology

 Basic Mechanical Engineering

 Capability of decoded P&ID (Process and Instrument diagrams)

 Well versed with Mechanical Product Knowledge (Pumps, Piping, Cranes, Casting and Forging Valves, Control Valves, Boilers, Turbine, and Pressure vessels and tanks)

 Review of Manufacturing Quality Plan and procedure for Mechanical equipment

 Site Installation technic and review of field Quality Plan and procedure for Mechanical equipment

 Well versed with painting

※In case his/her background is Electrical portion, should have specific knowledge as followings;

 Well Versed with IEC / IEEE and relevant international Code and standard

 Basic Electrical Engineering

 Capability of decoded P&ID (Process and Instrument diagrams)

 Capability of decoded single wire circuit diagram

 Well versed with electrical Product Knowledge(Generator’s Auxiliaries, EHV/HV Transformers, EHV/HV/LV Cables, HV/LV Switchgear, HV/LV Motors ,Instrumentation Cables, Battery And Battery Charger ,Bus Ducts (IPBD/SPBD/NSPBD), PLC Panels and VFD Panels, Switchyard Equipment’s (Circuit Breaker, CT, CVT, Isolators, Surge Arrestor, Wave Trap etc.), Switchyard structure, Insulators, Field Instruments, UPS and etc..

 Well versed with Instrument Calibration

 Well versed with Electrical Scheme Drawing and data sheet for Inspection.

 Review of Manufacturing Quality Plan and procedure for Electrical equipment

 Site Installation technic and review of field Quality Plan and procedure for Electrical equipment
