Job Description
- Provide accurate and professional interpretation between Japanese and Indonesian (and/or English) during meetings, conferences, and business discussions
- Translate business documents, reports, emails, and other written materials as required
- Assist the Japanese Director with daily communication involving local staff and external parties
- Support internal departments including HR, Finance, Corporate Planning, and Strategic Management, etc. in bridging language and cultural gaps
- Ensure confidentiality and maintain a high level of professionalism in all interpretation and translation tasks
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Japanese Language or related field
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N1) and English
- 5 years or more relevant experience in at least one of the following areas:
A: Working as a Japanese Support for Japanese Directors or Executives (BOD level)
B: Working in a Consulting firm’s Japanese Desk with Japanese clients
C: Engaging in Corporate Planning or Strategic Management with close coordination with Japan Headquarters
- Strong understanding of business and corporate terminology, especially in Finance and Corporate Planning
