Job Description
As a Director of IT, you will be accountable for ensuring the quality, security, and efficiency of customer’s internal
networks, cloud networking and hosting, identity and access management, cloud-based system and software
administration, IT support, device management, and security architecture.
Responsibilities/Skills
• Define and execute a strategic and tactical roadmap for the IT team.
• Managing the Day-to-Day Operations for Service Desk/Helpdesk, IT Infra Support and Apps SupportService Desk, network and system infrastructure ensuring proper configuration, implementation,
maintenance, and monitoring of security firewalls, sites/software, servers, data and file encryption, and
internet connectivity
• Responsible for SLA’s & KPI’s for Service Desk, IT Infra & Apps Support and Overall IT Operations
• Responsible for Business/stakeholder relationship management
• Ensure team members have clear, measurable goals, responsibilities, and performance standards.
• Provide mentorship and feedback to help the team excel.
• Responsible in terms of best practice sharing, team building exercises, guidance, and mentoring team
member
• Responsible for upskilling / cross skilling team members
• Design, maintain and improve the networking architecture to business-critical cloud-based software
measured by quality, consistency, and security.
• Identify security risks across threat vectors and lead projects, processes, and governance to mitigate risk.
• Responsible for getting IT policies and procedures implemented that enable strong security and riskmanagement capabilities.
• Select, implement, and administer 3rd party software systems including identity and access management
to meet corporate needs.
• Develop systems and processes for managing our physical and virtual IT infrastructure.
• Provide mentorship, hands-on training and enrich technical knowledge of our IT team.
Achieve fast response and resolution times while reducing tickets per employee by solving root causes,
creating repeatable processes, and automating regular IT needs where possible e.g., airtight onboarding
and offboarding, device provisioning and maintenance, and system access.
• Identifies and implements improvement in ongoing support of the network, server, and communications
infrastructure to ensure high performance of the IT department.
• Responsible for Documentation, Left Shift of Operations, Automation & Other optimization / productivity
lever
• Helps in implementing business continuity and disaster recovery within the IT department as well as the
recommendation and implementation of new investments within the technology infrastructure.
• Own the IT budget including managing vendor relationships and identifying cost-saving opportunities and
investments.

Requirements
Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressively increasing leadership responsibility in IT Operations and services areas that
include delivery of cloud services
• Expertise in industry-wide best practices for data security, cloud-computing, and information system
management
• 5+ years of experience as a director in an MIS role
• 3+ years of experience as a director of security operations management experience preferred
• Experience formulating and implementing security policies and systems
• Demonstrated excellence in setting customer service standards
• Demonstrated ability to manage company-wide software and hardware budget
• Extensive knowledge of all the following technologies:
o LAN/WAN/Wireless/Switching
o Mac and Windows Operating Systems
o Microsoft 365
o Zoom or other collaborative AV technology
o AWS, GCP, Azure
o Windows Server 2016/ 2019
• A deep understanding of general IT processes for; on-boarding/ off-boarding, vendor management,
procurement, inventory management, project management and security event monitoring
• Endpoint vulnerability detection and remediation experience
• Demonstrated ability to coach and develop talent within IT
• Experience with IT Service Desk (Voice, Chat & Mail Support),IT Infrastructure Management (Servers,
Storage, Virtualization, Network, Firewalls etc)
• Good knowledge & experience in IT infra & Apps L1, L2 support (Operations)
• Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as International Standards
Organization (ISO) 2700x,/the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) /Control Objectives for Information and
Related Technology (COBIT) frameworks
• Ability to lead 25+ members team
• Experience with digital security including network security, risk management, data, and host security,
identity management, cryptography, and public key infrastructure (PKI)
